Virgin River is an American TV drama series based on the genre of romance drama. The drama series has been produced by Reel World Management and there have been two seasons of the series. The series was renewed for a third season in December 2021.
The series premiered on Netflix in December 2019, and it revolves around Melinda Mel Monroe. Mel is a young woman who is looking to get rid of her dark past memories and wants to settle somewhere remote where she can heal her mind. She answers an advert for a nurse or midwife required in a remote town located in North California.
The town is called the Virgin River, and Mel believes moving there she’ll be able to transform herself and so she moves there. As she arrives in the town and starts her work she realizes it’s not what she had thought, and life is not as simple as it seemed earlier. The town did seem a perfect place at first but not anymore. She feels the pains in her mind must be healed before she can live peacefully anywhere.
The cast includes very well chosen and famous actors including Alexandra Breckenridge as Mel, Martin Henderson as Jack Sheridan, Colin Lawrence as John, Jenny Cooper as Joey Barnes, Lauren Hammersley as Charmaine Roberts, Annette O’Toole as Hope McCrea, etc.
Alexandra Breckenridge is an American actress and model who is famous for her works like Big Fat Liar, She’s the Man, The Ex List, Dirt, This is Us, Virgin River, Family Guy, and others. Alexandra was born in Connecticut, USA, in May 1982. She started her career with guest appearances in the series life Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared.
