Batman vs superman: dawn of justice is an American movie of the superhero, action, thriller, and rivalry genre. The film is based on the characters of DC comics. The movie was released after Man of Steel 2013 and was a second installment in the DC universe.
The film has been directed by the famous filmmaker Zack Synder and written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer. Interestingly this was the first movie to feature batman and superman together, and it was also the first cinematic depiction of Wonder Woman.
The movie was released in March 2016 in the United States, and although it gained a lot of popularity in the first week of its release, the profits went down later on to the disappointment of the directors and producers, who were criticized for the compromised and weak screenplay and plotting.
The cast however was very well chosen and contained all the great actors that we can think of including, Ben Affleck, playing as Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, or Superman. Amy Adams played as Lois Lane and Jesses Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. There are many more interesting characters as well.
The story keeps you gripped and glued to the screen but weakens up as the movie progresses. Bruce Wayne, the batman, believes that Superman is a serious threat to humans after he has fought the battle at Metropolis.
Lex Luthor has made batman believe so and maneuvered him into thinking that superman will destroy the world. There, The Batman decided to pick up his mantle and finish the superman as soon as possible.
