Killing Eve is a British TV drama series from the genre of a spy thriller, comedy, action, and dark humor drama. The TV series was released in April 2018 on BBC and there have been three seasons and 24 superhit episodes. The series was produced by Colin Wratten and Elinor Day under the name of Sid Gentle Films in the United Kingdom.
The series Killing Eve is based on the novel titled Codename Villanelle, written by British author and journalist Luke Jennings. The series has an interesting storyline and revolves around a British intelligence investigator Eve Polastri, played by Sandra Miju Oh. She is tasked with the capturing and arrest of a psycho killer, an assassin on the loose Villanelle.
Eve is bored with her monotonous job of providing protection and she is only interested in female assassins, their psychologies, and their methods of committing murders… She is fired after her misconduct during an investigation. But to her delight, she is hired by MI6 to chase international criminals, and the thrill begins!
The fascinating thing about the series is that every show has a different female head writer and every time Eve is tasked with catching the criminals.
