Smallville is an American TV series based on the genre of superhero and comics. The TV series is developed by the famous writer and producer Alfred Gough III along with Miles Miller a British screenwriter and producer Miles Millar. The TV series is based on the DC Comics character Superman.
The character of Superman was created by the legendary comic creators and book writers Jerome ‘Jerry’ Siegel, and Joe Shuster. The series was initially broadcast on The WB and premiered in October 2001.
There have been 10 seasons of the drama series with 217 episodes so far, which shows how popular the TV series has been. The final season was released in 2011 May, in which Clark Kent, played by Tom Welling, is the protagonist. He lives in the fictional town in Smallville, Kansas, and becomes the Man of Steel.
The first four seasons are centered on Clark and his friends and also his love story with Lana Lang at school, but the later seasons focus on Clark’s superhero phenomenon and how turns into an adult hero, with so many superhuman qualities. He finally focuses on his career at the Daily Planet with Lois Lane, played by Erica Durance.
The cast is super cool and very fine actors have played the roles in this movie, including Tom Welling as Clark Kent, Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang, Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor, Eric Johnson as Whitney Fordman, and more.
