He went to become more and more popular and performed a lot of concerts in the late 60s. His first-ever album double LP was his greatest hit and number album, however, unfortunately, he could only produce three albums in such a short life span.
Hendrix?s great inspiration was American rock and roll music, and he gained a lot of popularity in America after his first show at the Monterey Pop Festival.
Hendrix died accidentally as a result of a drug-related choking or, medically termed as asphyxia.

He received a great many awards during his short lifetime, and many awards and recognitions were given to him after his death in his memorial. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame in the year 1992 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
