Virgin River is a blockbuster American TV drama series from the love and romance genre. The series came out in December 2019 and there have been two seasons ever since with the third season coming out very soon.
Virgin is based on the famous novel series of the same name written by the legendary American author and novelist Robyn Carr, who has written over 50 bestselling fiction books. Each season has had 10 episodes with Melinda as the main character.
Melinda Monroe or Mel is a young lady with a past that is painful and haunting and she is desperate to get rid of her past life. She believes that leaving her present home and moving to a place somewhere remote and quieter will help her heal herself and she’ll be able to forget about her past.
So, when she sees a job vacancy for a midwife or nurse in a remote town of Virgin River in the suburbs of California she applies for it.
When she finally gets the job she moves to the town and takes up residence there. When she begins with the job and starts settling down she realizes that life in town is not as it seemed from the outside and that if she wants to live peacefully in the town and make it her home she will have to heal herself first.
